How we can support you
Live-in care involves a care worker living in the person’s home under an agreed arrangement. It can offer a different approach from individual visiting appointments. The suitability of the arrangement depends on the person’s needs, their home and the support required.
Planning the right arrangement
Your initial conversation can cover:
- Your daytime routine and the help you would like
- Accommodation and practical arrangements within the home
- Rest periods, cover and how overnight needs would be managed
- How family involvement, preferences and personal space will be respected
A live-in arrangement is not automatically continuous waking care. We will discuss the required support and confirm the arrangements, availability and costs directly before any service begins.
Arranging care with Gill Healthcare
Start by calling 01282 787800 or requesting a home visit. Tell us about the support you are looking for and where it is needed. We will discuss suitability and local availability, answer your questions and explain the next steps.
Before care begins, the agreed support, visit arrangements, costs and responsibilities should be clear to everyone involved. A home visit request is an enquiry; our team will contact you to confirm a suitable time.
