How we can support you
Care for a child or young person should recognise their individuality, their family’s knowledge and their changing needs. Gill Healthcare discusses the proposed support with parents or guardians and, in an appropriate way, with the young person themselves.
A family-centred conversation
Your initial conversation can cover:
- The young person’s needs, preferences and usual routine
- The role of parents, guardians and existing professionals
- Communication, consent and safeguarding arrangements
- The age range, tasks and care setting for the proposed support
Before making arrangements, contact the team to confirm suitability, the ages and needs we can support, availability and any assessment required. The specific service will be agreed with the family.
Arranging care with Gill Healthcare
Start by calling 01282 787800 or requesting a home visit. Tell us about the support you are looking for and where it is needed. We will discuss suitability and local availability, answer your questions and explain the next steps.
Before care begins, the agreed support, visit arrangements, costs and responsibilities should be clear to everyone involved. A home visit request is an enquiry; our team will contact you to confirm a suitable time.
